Getting Started with Voice Assist
Step 1. Set Up Your AI Agent
When you first open Voice Assist, the onboarding wizard walks you through everything the AI needs to know about your business. You will enter your business name, website URL, and FAQs. Voice Assist can also auto-generate context directly from your website, so the agent speaks accurately about your services from day one.

Step 2. Choose a Voice and Test the Agent
Select from a range of AI voices and adjust how the agent greets and responds to callers. Once configured, you can test the agent directly in the app before going live.

Step 3. Define Your Call Flow
Set the conditions under which Voice Assist will answer calls. Common configurations include:
- After hours — when your office is closed
- Overflow — when no one on your team picks up
- Always on — for full 24/7 AI coverage

To ensure your CRM is populated with structured, actionable data, you can also define the questions the agent should ask callers, like reason for calling, service location, or preferred appointment time.

Step 4. Review Your Business Details
In the final step of onboarding, review your business information. Voice Assist auto-fills these fields from your website:

Check, edit, and click Finish setup. Your agent is ready to start answering calls immediately.
Get Your Tracking Number
Once saving, a confirmation pop-up will appear with your dedicated Voice Assist phone number. You can place this number in your ads or forward your existing business line to this one whenever you want to use Voice Assist.
If you prefer to keep your current business number, select Set up call forwarding. Voice Assist will walk you through the process step by step. You can also do this later from your settings.
Click Go to dashboard to start monitoring your calls.

Monitor Performance in Your Dashboard
Your dashboard is where you monitor your Voice Assist performance. In the main view, you can see Total calls, Leads captured, and Average call duration. Each metric can be tracked on a weekly or monthly basis.
Below that, the Recent calls section lists every handled call with contact name, phone number, start time, duration, sentiment, and tags.
From the dashboard, you can also:
- Test your assistant: Hear how Voice Assist handles calls with your current business settings
- Configure notifications: Set up instant alerts whenever Voice Assist captures a lead
The Call log in the Reports section gives you a detailed view of all calls handled by Voice Assist. You can filter by time period and interval (days, weeks), add custom filters, and search by contact.
The chart shows call volume over time, and the list below includes each call with contact name, phone number, start time, duration, tags, and sentiment. You can export information directly from this view.
Integrations
Voice Assist connects with multiple marketing and CRM tools to help you keep and share all data together.

Connect Voice Assist to your existing stack to track how many calls and qualified leads your campaigns generate.
Settings
You can update your Voice Assist configuration at any time from the Settings menu. This includes your business profile, AI voice and greeting, caller intake form questions, and your Voice Assist number setup.
Pay attention to two specific configurations: Automation Rules and Tags.
Automation Rules
Automation Rules let you classify interactions automatically. You define which types of calls you want to focus on, and Voice Assist will qualify, score, tag, and assign a value to the ones that match your criteria. You can build a rule from scratch, like this:

You can also start from one of the ready-made templates:
- Sale outcome: Tag calls with conversion signals based on sale outcomes
- Lead score: ag calls based on lead scoring
- Schedule status: Tag calls based on scheduling outcomes
- Qualified lead: Mark leads as qualified based on features typical of high-quality calls
- Industry terms: Apply key terms and phrases relevant to your industry
- Customer disposition: Tag happy or unhappy customers by key terms
- Customer conversion: Tag leads as Conversion when relevant key terms are said

Tags
Tags help you organize and label your customer interactions. You can create, edit, enable, disable, and color-code tags for better data management.
Tags are applied to calls manually or automatically via Automation Rules. You can use the default tags (such as Opportunity, Conversion, Existing Customer, Schedule booked, Schedule requested) and customize to fit your workflow.
